01Leg
From
To
1,672 km2h 39mpeak day
Block time
55–65%

Wheels-up to wheels-down, plus 15 min taxi at each end. Includes fuel, crew, and insurance at the operator's wet-lease rate — no broker markup.

Landing & handling
10–20%

Landing fee (airport) + handling fee (FBO). Le Bourget ~€4,200. Riga ~€1,400. Passed at cost, no markup.

Repositioning
0–25%

If the aircraft isn't based at your departure airport, someone pays for the ferry leg to get it there. This is often the largest hidden cost in a private jet charter price. We actively track empty legs to reduce or eliminate repositioning on your quote.

Peak / seasonal
0–15%

Cannes film festival, Davos in January, Olbia in August. Rates rise 5–15% when operator availability tightens.

Crew overnights
0–6%

EASA duty rules cap pilots at ~10 flight hours. Long missions: 2 pilots × €280/night = €560 per overnight stay.

Overflight & permits
0–5%

Crossing 3+ borders typically adds ~€450/leg. EU internal flights are usually fee-free.

Catering & onboard
1–4%

From €30/person platters to €1,200 multi-course menus. Invoiced at caterer cost, no markup.

Every quote BBAC issues is itemised across these components, so the total reflects the real cost of your flight — not a wholesale rate with an undisclosed broker markup on top. The same route can land at a different number each time, because availability, season and permits change. We flag all of it before you confirm.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly can I get a private jet charter price?

Within 15 minutes. Share the route, dates, and number of passengers — by email, WhatsApp, or the request form — and we'll come back with aircraft options and itemised pricing.

Is the quoted price the final price?

Yes. BBAC quotes are itemised across all cost components — block time, landing and handling fees, permits, crew overnights, catering, and repositioning. No line item is hidden, and nothing is added after the fact.

Why does the same route cost differently each time?

Three main reasons: aircraft availability at your departure point (repositioning cost varies), seasonal demand at the destination, and permit fees for certain airspaces. We flag all of these in the quote before you confirm.

Do you charge a broker markup on top of operator rates?

No hidden margin. BBAC works with a global network of operators and quotes competitively across all of them — you see the real cost of the flight, broken down by component, not a wholesale rate with an undisclosed markup on top.

Can my assistant or travel manager handle the booking?

Entirely. Most of our clients delegate the process to an EA or travel coordinator. We work directly with them, keep communication structured, and make sure documentation is in order for corporate accounting.

What's the most cost-effective way to fly private?

Empty legs — flights where the aircraft needs to reposition anyway. The saving is real (typically 30–75% off a standard charter price), but the route and timing are fixed. Check current availability and set up alerts on our empty leg flights page.

Can I book last-minute?

Yes. Same-day bookings are part of our daily routine. The earlier you contact us, the more aircraft options we can offer — but we've handled departures within a few hours when needed.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer and major cards. For corporate clients, we provide full invoicing with the documentation required for accounting and expense reporting.

Can you charter a private jet to any destination?

Yes. We arrange private jet flights to any destination where flights are permitted — all continents, including routes most brokers won't quote. Complex routing, unusual destinations — just ask.

What's the difference between a light, midsize, and heavy jet — and how does it affect the price?

Roughly: light jets seat 4–6 passengers and work well for routes up to 3–4 hours. Midsize jets seat 6–8 and cover most European and transatlantic routes comfortably. Heavy jets seat 10–14, have full stand-up cabins, and are built for long-haul. The category is also one of the main drivers of charter cost — a light jet on a 2-hour leg will typically run €4,000–8,000; the same route in a heavy jet can be two to three times that. We'll recommend the right aircraft for your route, group size, and budget.
